My very first blog!
Today, 01-09-2009.
(I am starting to feel like

It was and still is an interesting day.
I am trying to transition my life from meaningless jobs to a career in music.
So today i scheduled 2 meetings, one with
BMI Nashville and then afterwards with an old friend, Landon
Pigg. If that name doesn't ring a bell google him later. He's a successful musician.
And then later today a friend of mine is having dinner with their friend who is and A&R from
UMG or Universal Music Group. And she is going to plug me into there
convo. I am stoked about that. I had my first meeting with the CEO of UMG Nashville Luke Lewis, last year! He took 2 of my CD's and said he'd go to bat for me. Either way, the fact that I even sat opposite Luke Lewis in UMG was a hallmark for me.
Anyways, at the
BMI meeting I was introduced to Mr. Reality not a person but a state of consciousness. I was unaware of his existence. Just kidding, but the road that lies ahead in my pursuit of music is going to be a little more cutthroat than I
originally expected. I am going to have to work harder and more diligent. I am up for the task.
Cuz when the going gets tough, the tough get going!
